Malai-Paan (Malai Gillauri) - This is Lucknow special sweet dish which is almost 200 years old recipe. There is a unique story behind this malai gillauri . Nawab wajid ali shah loves to chewing paan (Betel leaf) but this habit was effecting his teeth badly so he call his all loyal ministers to make a solution for this. Ministers went Ram Asrey  with the urgent concern of how to persuade the Nawab get rid of his habit of paan(Betel leaf). Ram Asery's skills-men gave an attempt of presenting an Indian sweet made of Malai, stuffed with the richness of dry fruits and sugar, designed and folded just like Indian paan. The Nawab instantly fell in love with the dessert and the famous Malai Pan was born🤗

A lost gem of jaipur..... serving from more than 100 years.... A samosa shop in crowded streets of #nahargarh_road. A shop with out a name...without fame...still serving their delicious authentic samosa & kachori just in 5-/Rupees each. They do not use morden burner or gas stove... Using a #mitti_ka_chulha may be thats why their food have that authentic taste....which you cant find anywhere else. Their coriander and raw tamarind chutney gives a hit to ur taste buds... Salute to their service...their dignity and that 100 years old taste .
